I am an african american woman and find it hard to keep my hair moisturized without making my hair frizzy.

Because you are exposed to so much heat, you will have to get some top quality products. Going "bargain" shopping for hair care products is not what I would recommend because you definitely get what you pay for in those instances. My first choice would be Ojon. It is made from the tropical rainforest. Go to www.ojon.com to look up some info about it.

Another one you can use is is Kera Kare. Try their moisturizing shampoo and the humectress conditioner. Their conditioner is absolutely amazing! Usually you can go to a salon like JCPenney, Regis, Beauty Brands and find those products. Either one you choose you will feel an immediate difference in your hair.

Good luck!

mane and tail leave-in conditioner. it's awesome! tames the frizzies and can be rinsed out or left in. you might be able to leave more of it in, as your hair is probably coarser than mine and won't necessarily be weighed down by it. i'm irish-german by ancestry, so I'm about as white as it gets, but my hair is coarse, thick and wavy and this stuff is fantastic. I have to rinse it out, then take a dab of it after i get out of the shower and rub that into the ends and the places where I get flyaways, because if i leave it in it makes my hair limp.

The best moisturizing product is by Lacome. Their conditioners work wonders! And smell great!

Luster's Pink Oil Moisturizing Lotion or Doo Gro Oil or Dr. Miracles Oil.
