African american anime?

Okay, I've been seeing lots of things like 'Why isn't there many black anime girls' and things. and people answer saying not many black people love in japan. Well they do put lots of white people (blonde hair blue eyes etc) in anime. I mean, naruto doesn't seem like a japanese looking boy to me.

And anime always have straight hair. It's the same thing. Long and straight, pale, and stuff.

(not trying to go against white people)

But the light skinned is always the main character of like every show. Okay forget anime, the cartoon in the states. lots of dark skinned people live there. But the shows like sabrina the teenaged witch, brace face, etc etc etc are always the same. I mean sabrina and brace face look the same. They could be twins too.

Not only cartoons also with real people. I mean like every movie I watch...they could atleast make samara morgan be black, or something.

Not trying to be racist against anyone.

Or hurt anyone. Just sayin. If you hate me for it then oh well. :P

television and the wide screen does not cater to the black community. therefore there are not allot of black tv shows or people/cartoons on television or in the movies. they want this so called "american" figure (pale skin, blue eyes, long blonde hair) to dominate everything and it is.....even in Japan cartoons/mags. its not fair that these animators dont create more ethnic characters or just throw 1 black character in the picture, if at all. but thats life. i would say more but it would sound racist so ima stop here. (and no im not a racist)

There are a lot of shows in the states where the main person or one of the main charactoers are african american. Like Corey in the House, Cheeta girls, CSI: Las vegas, Scrubs, That's so Raven, etc.... I can keep going if you want.

Well actually most of the Asian people you see have straight hair. But also in one of the animes revolutionary girl utena one of the main characters is black but the bad thing is her brother is kind of disgusting in ways. Also there is the afro samurai and thats all ic an really think about. In alien versus predator the black woman is kind of the main character and surprisingly she actually survives. But if you think about it Madonna, Britney, and Marilyn Monroe were and are famous. A lot of people think that just having blond hair and blue eyes is just absolutely gorgeous and it kind becomes an icon and in some cases i guess you could say it's rare. I do wish that there were more black people in some animes since few times do you see them, it isn't wrong to want this though.
