First start with hair that's just been shampooed and conditioned. Then dry your hair. Then comb out your hair and section it off. Starting with one section take 1./4 inch of hair and part it. Place your hot comb on the stove. Make sure you have a cloth to set the comb on to wipe it. Test your comb first, place it on the cloth to see how much smoke appears. Wave it around to cool it just a little bit. Then start at the roots take the comb and gently and slowly go downward, making sure the smooth side of the comb also runs along your hair. There you go do the entire head that way. Make sure the comb is never too hot or turns red while on the stove it's too hot for your hair. Good Luck and be carefully. Make sure you stand in front of a mirror to see what your doing.

The back is going to be the hardest for you but you will feel the heat if you get to close to your scalp.

I'm glad it came out fine. Thank you for the points. Report It

The 1st answerer got it all just right, but I would add to use a pressing creme, it makes your results silkier and longer lasting. DON'T TURN the heat all the way up on the burner or you CAN singe your hair right out of your head.
