well, i just keep braids.... micro braids and kinky twists generate a lot of new growth over 1 month. they are suppose to last 2 to 3 moonths. test the products on the market. deep condition your hair. consult a good beautician. get ur ends clipped frequently. avoid excessive heat and chemicals. if ur hair is relaxed, it may be good to transition to natural hair or hold out a few months on the relaxer by getting braids...i have had braids for quite a while now......i will not get another perm until july

braids are the easiest way to go, when you perm your air wait about a week or too, before rebraiding, keep the ends trim, thats a must and use something little, your pores must breath, olive oil ois good, i use that on my girls hair and it keeps their texture as well as it keeps it oiled, on my hair i use olive oil perms it works,
