About how much does heat protectant stuff for your hair costs? What all do I need? I'm African-American and my hair is natural (nappy), so what brand do you recommend for me to use? How much does it cost? Someone told me that it's actually good for your hair to add heat to it every once in a while, as long as you have the heat protectant stuff. Is that true? Anyways, thanks alot!!!

I use oil sheen, then I flat iron. You don't have to buy all that expensive crap. Just spray some oil sheen on it and flat iron your hair.

Hey, I'm not African American but since i have curly hair I used a lot of different ethnic hair products. Oil Sheen works really well. the kind i use is in a blue can and you can get it at any walmart, supermarket, cvs, etc. I think its like $3 for a big can.

i use paul mittcheill and i paid like 13.50 but it lasts 4 ever. its quite a bargin actually
